Mysterious Slot Review For 2026 by Pragmatic Play

Released in February of 2020, this Pragmatic Play release takes players from winning on 256 paylines to 4,096 ways to win. As a result, the reels expand from a 4×4 grid to a 4×6 grid. That makes it easier to land better payouts. Players also have three features in play during the base game. That’s in addition to a bonus round offering up to 12 free spins.

The Graphics, Animation, Music

True to Pragmatic Play's style, the graphics are sharp and exquisite. The base game happens in a moonlit street with fog rolling by. Meanwhile, the bonus rounds happen inside a creepy house. The music is also spine-chilling, adding to the mystical them of the release.

The Gameplay Features

You have ten symbols on the reels. High payouts come from the four animal-carved door knockers and the game's logo. Low payouts are from the four card suit gems. You need to land a minimum of three high-paying or four low-paying symbols to create a winning combination.

The Slot Bonuses, Wilds, and Free Spins

You can have one of three wilds in play during the base game. That's either:

1. The Lady - may expand, revealing stacked symbols
2. The Lord - awards 2x or 3x multipliers
3. The Baron - may turn adjacent symbols into wilds

They all also perform substitutions. Then, land three or four scatters to get 8 or 12 spins, respectively.

Bet Sizes and RTP

Players can make their wagers from a minimum of $0.1 - $100. The slot has an above-average RTP of 96.5% and is a high variance slot. So, the free spins round is where to get generous payouts.

Conclusion

With a prize of up to 9,648x your stake up for grabs, it's no wonder this slot is so popular. Besides that, it's been designed exquisitely, giving fans a more immersive experience as they wait for wins to roll in. And as a plus, you get to pick which features are present when you trigger the free spins round.
