San Quentin Slot Game Review by Nolimit City

San Quentin slot has an unconventional theme – no doubt about it. Nolimit City has always focused on designing unique games around rarely used themes. Despite that, it is still surprising to see a slot game focused on one of the most infamous prisons in the world. You’ve probably seen this prison in movies or television. Now it’s time to take a closer look at it!

San Quentin’s Graphics and Sound Effects

San Quentin slot is definitely one of the most immersive prison-themed slots out there. The background has tall grey walls in all directions and a basketball hoop off to the side. As the reels spin, you will hear prisoners shouting from the sides. The background music also contributes to the brutal and oppressive atmosphere of this game.

San Quentin’s Gameplay Features

This is a typical video slot with 5 reels, 3 rows and 243 paylines. The number of paylines can jump to 46,656 and beyond when the special features activate. Each of the reels has an ‘Enhancer Cell’ at the top and bottom. When triggered, these cells release bonus features.

Stay Alert on the Yard for Bonuses!

One of the most interesting bonuses in San Quentin is the split wilds bonus. When this shows up on a reel, it cuts all other symbols on the reel in half. Three rows will turn to five rows, with more paylines and a bigger payout! The bonus symbols in this game include:

• Split Wilds
• Jumping Wilds
• Watchtower Symbols
• X-Ways Bonuses
